My Query Letter for the Inn at the Crossroads

I am writing this query to see whether you would be interested in The Inn at The Crossroads a 100,000-word Fantasy Adventure that ranges over the World of the Omniverse, a multiverse populated with Elves, Pixies, Faeries, Dragons, Kobolds, Humans and other mythical creatures. And at the mystical hub of the universe are the dark, mysterious presence of the original Builders of the inn.

Forty-year old Silicon Valley veterans, Carey and Bill Impollonia have decided to chuck their high pressure careers, sell their houses and move back east to upstate New York to buy the Greenwich Manor, a very profitable Victorian Inn, from it’s old world owner Timothy. No sooner have they signed on the dotted line when Timothy and his attorney, Balthazar disappear to be replaced by Light and Dark Elves from Álfheim. Bill and Carey have not bought a simple, peaceful country inn but the most unique property in the Omniverse, The Inn at the Crossroads, a mystical, magical interspecies inn and trading post. Just when things could not get any stranger, Belle, their diminutive and shape shifting Pixie secretary and Human liaison reports for work and an infestation of demons nearly destroys their office and inn. Carey and Bill have to find the source of the deadly menace and fix it or lose the inn and maybe their lives or worse, their souls. Delayed maintenance is always a killer.

With the help of Belle and her sisters, the Pixie Network, Timothy the Light Elf and the Kobold King, Bill and Carey trace the problems back to the political maneuverings of Oberon, ex-innkeeper and Belle’s father and Faerie liege lord. Oberon in a desperate attempt to solve Faerie’s fertility problems steals the last viable Dragon Queen egg, throwing the Omniverse into disarray and danger. It is up to Carey and Bill to rescue the Dragon Egg, restore peace and balance to the Omniverse and The Inn at the Crossroads. All this while trying to run an inn.

The second Inn at the Crossroads adventure, The Inn of the Star Crossed, is an 80,000 word Historical Fantasy and Murder Mystery taking place in Civil War Manhattan.
